As much as 30 per cent of the UK adult population may suffer from lower back pain, it has been stated.Writing for Medfinds, Dr Jane Hart advised that those enduring such problems should see a doctor, make a follow-up visit, improve their posture and find out about exercises they can do.
However, she added, some people may not be able to do some exercises at times when they are suffering from severe back pain.
In addition to this, Dr Hart noted that people can look at complimentary therapies, such as yoga, tai chi, massage and acupuncture.
Those keen to discover additional ways of dealing with back pain may find using an ultrasound device is something that helps relieve their discomfort.
Sportsmen are among those who can be worst affected by back pain, due to the strain some actions place on their body.
One man in such a situation is Australian cricketer Stuart Clark, who may be ruled out of the forthcoming Test series with Pakistan after sustaining such an injury in a state game that will keep him out of action until the new year.
