Drogba in knee injury battle
26/3/2010
Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has said he is confident he will recover from a knee injury in time to play in this weekend's important Premiership game against Aston Villa. The 32-year-old Ivorian has been suffering from discomfort in the joint but commented: "The knee is painful, but I think it's going to be all right."
Drogba's fitness could be vital in a game his club will be keen to win as it battles to stay in the Premier League title race, while Aston Villa are themselves chasing fourth place and a Champions League berth.
Those who are trying to deal with a problematic knee may find that using mobile ultrasound helps to ease the discomfort.
A fitness boost for Drogba will come as a rare piece of good news on the injury front for Chelsea, who have suffered several defensive injuries recently.
The latest case has seen Ricardo Carvalho ruled out for at least a month with an ankle injury.
