Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon has had fresh trouble with a groin injury that first flared up last month.Lennon had been back in training after straining the muscle in late December, but suffered a setback at the weekend and is now to undergo a scan.
Should the news be bad, it could represent a major blow for the player, his club and the England side, with the latter playing a friendly game against Egypt on March 3rd.
With Tottenham in the quarter finals of the FA Cup and chasing a Champions League place, Lennon will be keen to get back into action as soon as possible.
Those troubled by a groin muscle problem may find that using a mobile ultrasound device helps ease the pain and promote faster healing.
Another footballer also facing anxiety over a groin strain ahead of the World Cup is Arsenal's Carlos Vela.
Manager Arsene Wenger revealed at the weekend that the Mexican's absence from the squad has been because of an injury in the area.
