Queen of the South midfielder Rocco Quinn has talked about the hazards associated with sports injuries after he was hurt during a recent match. The former Celtic player was able to continue the game after crashing to the turf during a game with Dundee and managed to see things through to the final whistle.
He explained that one of the things that went through his mind when he realised he was injured was the fact that his friend and former Celtic teammate John Kennedy had been forced into premature retirement due to an injury a day earlier.
Quinn said that he was "devastated" that Kennedy's career as a footballer is now over, noting that nobody knows what is around the corner in the sporting profession.
"We all take it seriously and, of course, we like to win - but it can be a very short career," he explained.
Ultrasound equipment such as Ultralieve Pro can help accelerate healing by stimulating soft tissue beneath the surface of the skin.
